Wednesday 17th June at 12pm PT (Los Angeles)

JESSICA LUFFEY PRESENTS: Structural Restrictions in Singing: The Role of Tongue Ties in Vocal Function and Efficiency

This lecture explores how undiagnosed tongue ties can act as a hidden structural limitation in singers—often misidentified as technical or functional issues. Participants will learn how to recognize the signs of tongue restriction in the voice, understand its impact on breath, range, and vocal efficiency, and gain insight into evidence-informed pathways for intervention, including myofunctional therapy and surgical release. Attendees will leave with practical tools to identify underlying causes of persistent vocal challenges, such as tongue tension, and support singers toward greater freedom, consistency, and long-term vocal success

This EdHub is open to non members for a cost of $40.
