For the past twenty years, Korel Tunador has been touring the world, visiting nearly 40 countries and all 50 U.S. States, singing, playing guitar, keys, and saxophone with notable acts including Rob Thomas, Katy Perry, The Goo Goo Dolls, Jada Pinkett Smith, Papa Roach, and others. Korel has performed on most of the iconic late-night and morning television shows in the U.S. as well as Europe, and Japan, including The Tonight Show, Late Night, Good Morning America, Ellen, The Today Show, Conan, Kimmel, Ant and Dec, Top of the Pops, Europe and Japan MTV Awards, Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and more, as well as notable venues from Red Rocks to Wembley to Ellis Park Stadium in Johannesburg for Nelson Mandela’s 46664 Foundation’s AIDS awareness events.
Korel possesses a rich musical background that encompasses Suzuki Classical Piano training, a degree in Jazz Performance from Berklee College of Music, and an extensive repertoire of recording and performing experiences. From being a singer-songwriter to collaborating with rock bands and improvisational jazz big bands to embarking on many unconventional musical endeavors, Korel's deep reservoir of musical experiences allows him to share a unique depth of knowledge and expertise.
As a voice coach, Korel has an easygoing yet focused style and always finds the fun in lessons. He enjoys working with all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned touring professionals. While keeping the focus on singing, he also loves the opportunity to “cross-train” by enhancing overall musicality, helping singer-songwriters integrate their guitar or piano skills more effectively, and refine their songwriting skills.
Teaching primarily online from his studio in the Los Angeles/Ojai, California area, Korel is also a member of the board of directors for Vocology In
Practice (ViP).
