Kelly Summer is a highly experienced voice teacher and music therapist with a passion for nurturing talent and promoting healing through music. With over 30 years of teaching experience, Kelly has honed her skills as a voice instructor, helping aspiring singers of all levels unlock their full potential.

Kelly holds a Master's Degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Southern California, where she refined her vocal technique and performance artistry. Prior to that, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Miami, specializing in Vocal Jazz. Most recently, she completed the Teacher Certification program through New York Vocal Coaching, under the direction of Justin Stoney. This diverse educational background has equipped Kelly with a versatile understanding of various musical genres and vocal styles, as well as a thorough understanding of current industry trends.

In addition to her expertise in voice instruction, Kelly is also a trained Music Therapist, having earned a degree in Music Therapy from California State University, Northridge. With close to two decades of clinical experience as a music therapist, Kelly has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of music in enhancing emotional well-being and facilitating healing processes.

Operating her own studio in Long Beach, California, Kelly provides a nurturing and supportive environment for her voice students. Her teaching approach combines technical mastery with a deep appreciation for each student's unique voice, fostering growth and confidence. She believes in tailoring lessons to meet individual needs and aspirations, whether the student is a beginner seeking to explore their voice or an advanced vocalist aiming for professional development.
