Whitney is incredibly passionate about sharing her love of songwriting, singing and sharing the magic of expressing and creating music with others. She and her husband Niall David opened Songbird Studios in 2008, and what began as a small, two-person operation has now grown into the leading studio for Vocal Coaching in Northern California. Having recently opened their third studio location in San Francisco, Songbird Studios currently boasts an incredibly talented staff of 20+ Vocal Coaches and Administrative Staff with over 425 student singers.
Singing and performing her entire life, Whitney has played live shows around the world, touring solo, with her band, and with collegiate a cappella groups while attending Yale College during her undergraduate years.
Whitney has self released multiple projects, most notably her debut full length album 100 Strong, as well as a holiday EP “It’s Christmas,” and an electronic-infused EP. Whitney’s songs have been placed in TV & Film, and have won a variety of songwriting competitions, including an honorable mention for her song “Hard Enough” in the West Coast Songwriters International Song Competition.
In addition to being the Owner and CEO of Songbird Studios, Whitney is also the creator of the Singing / Straw, a revolutionary new sustainable tool to help singers develop healthier, stronger and more balanced voices.
