Claire Cannon

For over a decade Claire has been dedicated to developing voices. Claire's clients include amateur and professional performers, drama school graduates, leading speakers and charting recording artists. 

Claire works from her home studio in Warrington (UK) where she teaches in person and online with students across the UK, USA and Singapore. She also teaches in college working with A-level music students preparing for their voice exams and runs well being choirs for local businesses as part of a focus on mental health awareness in the workplace.

 

Claire graduated from the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA) with a diploma in voice and a degree in Performing Arts - Music. Since then she has continued to further her education gaining a certification in contemporary vocal coaching from the voice college and has been a member of the BAST community for over 7 years. Claire prides herself on being able to use her knowledge of many different vocal methods to tailor her teaching to each individual client. 

 

Alongside her teaching work Claire is also involved with the Christie Musical Theatre Company (CMTC) delivering high calibre musical theatre productions to raise funds for the Christie NHS foundation trust. She is the lead vocalist for successful electronic dance group 'Flip and Fill' and has worked as a session singer for over 10 years. She is also an executive board member at 'Filtrate Recordings', a record label helping to develop new artists.

 

Claire specialises in teaching advanced vocal technique to both contemporary music artists and musical theatre performers in order to improve vocal function and overall vocal health.
