Anneliese Hazelman

Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia

Anneliese began singing and composing music from a young age whilst living amongst it in the environment of my musical family upbringing.

She has been involved in the music and performance industry since 2004 performing in a pop opera duo with her brother Jake Meywes who was signed to Opera Queensland at the age of 13.

In 2005 they recorded two Christian/Inspirational albums and went on an international tour of NZ/AUS performing at concerts, churches, and Christian music festivals. She then branched off from the pop opera duo to focus on a broader range of musical genres.

In 2008 one of her compositions You Are My Miracle was used by the Children’s Cancer Institute of Australia along with another original in 2011 titled Carry On which was used for the Australian Discrimination Against Women Campaign and that she performed live at Parliament House for esteemed guests including the Governor General.

In 2011 Anneliese had the privilege of working with renowned producer Claytoven Richardson and Larry Batiste (musical director for the Grammy Awards Pre-Telecast, and the TEC Awards) along with David DeCuir on her original 11-track album titled Listen, released in 2011.

During this time Anneliese began training singers and was the youngest certified instructor in the Speech Level Singing technique. Following that, she continued working with Dave Stroud and other singing coaches within the ViP network which helped her stay on top of her education in the ever-evolving world of voice science. She has now been working as a voice coach for 13 years and has helped hundreds of vocalists become the best possible version of themselves through her dedication and love for teaching and her desire to support her singers in lessons and in life.

Anneliese has worked with singers from all backgrounds - major label contemporary artists, television shows (The Voice), independent labels, singer/songwriters, and complete beginners who have all trusted her to take good care of their voices and to develop and prepare them for a career in music.

ViP is a global network of elite voice professionals, including singing teachers, vocal coaches, songwriters, producers, music industry professionals, speech and language practitioners, ENT’s and laryngologists.
